About Shri Ram Seva Samiti
Shri Ram Seva Samitiย is a registered non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in Jeolikota, Nainital, Uttarakhand, India. Founded with the sacred spirit of selfless service โ Nishkam Seva โ the Samiti is committed to the welfare of all living beings, with a special focus on Gau Mata protection, community upliftment, environmental conservation, and the empowerment of the underprivileged.
Rooted in the values of Sanatan Dharma, we believe that true devotion to Shri Ram is expressed not merely in worship, but in action โ through feeding the hungry, healing the sick, educating the young, and protecting the voiceless. Our work is a living expression of these eternal values.
Operating primarily across Nainital district and the broader Uttarakhand region, we mobilise local volunteers, community leaders, and generous donors to run six active programmes spanning animal welfare, food distribution, education, healthcare, environmental protection, and sanitation.
We are a transparent, accountable organisation. Our accounts are open to inspection, our registration documents are publicly accessible, and every donation is used with full integrity for the purposes stated in our founding charter.

Cow Protection & Care
We run active Gau Seva programmes to shelter, feed, and provide veterinary care to abandoned and injured cows. We believe Gau Mata is the embodiment of compassion โ protecting her is our highest duty. Our efforts include stray cow rescue, gaushala support, and awareness drives on humane animal treatment.

Food Distribution
No one should sleep hungry. Our Food Distribution programme โ Bhojan Seva โ delivers nutritious cooked meals and dry ration kits to daily wage workers, the elderly, orphans, and economically distressed families across Nainital. Special drives are conducted during festivals, winter, and natural calamities.

Clean India Mission
Inspired by the vision of Swachh Bharat, our volunteers conduct regular cleanliness drives in villages, public spaces, riverbeds, and mountain trails of Uttarakhand. We also promote waste segregation, ban on single-use plastic, and hygiene education in schools and community centres.

Digital Education for Poor Children
Every child deserves a future. We provide underprivileged children with access to tablets, computers, internet connectivity, and digital literacy programmes. Our centres offer coaching in basic computing, online learning platforms, and career guidance โ bridging the digital divide one child at a time.

Free Medical Health Camps
Access to healthcare should not depend on income. We regularly organise free health camps offering consultations, blood tests, eye check-ups, dental care, and medicine distribution for rural populations across Uttarakhand.
