About Shri Ram Seva Samiti
Shri Ram Seva Samiti is a registered non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in Jeolikota, Nainital, Uttarakhand, India. Founded with the sacred spirit of selfless service — Nishkam Seva — the Samiti is committed to the welfare of all living beings, with a special focus on Gau Mata protection, community upliftment, environmental conservation, and the empowerment of the underprivileged.
Rooted in the values of Sanatan Dharma, we believe that true devotion to Shri Ram is expressed not merely in worship, but in action — through feeding the hungry, healing the sick, educating the young, and protecting the voiceless. Our work is a living expression of these eternal values.
Operating primarily across Nainital district and the broader Uttarakhand region, we mobilise local volunteers, community leaders, and generous donors to run six active programmes spanning animal welfare, food distribution, education, healthcare, environmental protection, and sanitation.
We are a transparent, accountable organisation. Our accounts are open to inspection, our registration documents are publicly accessible, and every donation is used with full integrity for the purposes stated in our founding charter.
